I don’t know where I was going, but I think I was looking for my suite as I walked thru an alternative dreamworld version of my apartment building. It was much bigger than real life, more like a grand hotel, though the rooms seemed narrower, almost like corridors.

What’s odd is how I was able, at first inadvertently then willingly, to pass thru other people’s (strangers’) suites in the search for mine. It seems they were all connected in that way. The only thing separating us tenants were back doors that were usually closed and locked.

A lot of people kept their doors; the back ones connecting the rooms and the main ones; open, even when they weren’t home. Where they were I had no idea, but I never saw anyone when I passed thru their home and didn’t seem concerned about a potential confrontation.

At some point I reached the first floor lobby, which was even more hotel-like. That’s when I finally saw other people; employees working behind counters and tenants (girls) coming in from outside. I remember reaching a dead end and turning back around to continue my quest.
