The obvious comparison here is to Cast Away<\/a>. They’re both stories about a man stranded on what may as well be the center of an ocean. What’s better here is the beginning and ending. This movie ends like that one should’ve. There’s no epilogue or even scene change to distract from the gist. Robert Redford is the sole character and his struggle to survive is all it’s about.<\/p>\n
