video : a Christian trying to justify her belief in God

Lacy :

When you have a true encounter with God you don’t have to justify your belief to anyone. Just like the song amazing grace where it says I was blind and now see. Unbelievers are blind to the things of God.

Careline :

Just because someone can not explain quantum physics does not mean it doesn’t exist. Simply because one person can not justify the existence of God in a meaningful way, does not disqualify His existence.

Now, to the best of my God given ability as a believer, I will try my own turn at justification. I will come back to edit this later, as it’s late at night when I write this, so while you read this it will be incomplete. Anyway…

Q: How can you justify God’s existence?
(Short answer)
There is much evidence to justify God’s existence, and if you properly do your research you will know that (will elaborate on some more examples when I have time). Our very existence is a testament to this. Nothing comes from nothing. Something comes from something. A universe does not stem out of nothingness, it can not be created by nothingness. Matter can not be created nor destroyed – the law of conservation of mass, for example. It came from somewhere. Space, matter and time are all intertwined, but they were all created and came into existence when our universe did. Therefore something outside of all these things had to have created it – God. Who, in the Bible, is specified to be outside of time.

Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

John 8:58
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”

Ephesians 1:4-6
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Now for the question the interviewer asked: How come when some Christians pray their prayers aren’t answered?

There’s a few answers to that, but without going into extreme detail, the gist of it is that their intentions are in the wrong place and they seek things for their own pleasure/benefit and not for God. Other reasons might be: it is not God’s will for something to happen. He knows best, He is all-knowing after all. We ought to trust in Him above all, and not in our plans. Or perhaps the person doubts, or they are lukewarm.

John 9:31
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

Isa. 59:1-2
Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear.
But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.

James 1:6-8
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

I’m going to stop here for now but if anyone has genuine questions I will do my best to answer using what I have learned about God through my journey, as well as His word. I will not be answering mockery, as it is written:

Galatians 6:7-8
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

God bless you, and I will be back tomorrow with a continuation <3

Eric Bellamy :

This lady said nothing but complete drivel.

Mark Woods :

Good for her if she believes but I don’t and there’s no proof of any god’s existence.

RELAXADO :

She couldn’t justify her belief so she just left. She knows there is no justification
