I hate the polarization of people in this country. I wish people would stop and think about the ideas of other people as opposed to demonizing them and making the opposition out to be either stupid or immoral. I think that people are just people and they have different opinions for good reasons, and we need to have respectful dialogue in order to reach a good solution, or at least a compromise. It’s sad to see people so set in their beliefs that they cannot even consider any other train of thought. But that’s what are country is going through, and it needs to stop. We need more intelligent people. We need more intelligent conversations. And above all, we need empathy for each other as fellow human beings.
