Professor X is the one who keeps calling people sissies, but it’s rapper Brother J, with his intellectual diction, who comes across as a teacher. His Lessons, which consist mostly of racial (racist) pro-Black/anti-white bigotry, are debatable to say the least, but the music, which relies heavily on 1970s/1980s soul samples, is Funkin. The best songs are the two with the word Verb in them.

The best part of this song is the bassline. It reminds me of MC Eiht’s Strawberriez N Cream. Bang the beat while driving thru the hood, taking mental notes from OG JT. “It’s How Ya Move Out Here,” he suggests, meaning you (“niggas”) should be careful about bringing a lot of attention to yourself, especially when it comes to flexing and flossing. It could save your life.

Why Donald Trump would agree to a Debate on CNN; the most anti-Trump platform of them all; is beyond me. They stacked the deck in Joe Biden’s favor; not allowing an audience continues the illusion that he has a comparable fanbase thus was elected legitimately; but to no avail. Trump wins handily, thanks in part to the hosts remaining surprisingly objective.
Joe Biden is president. Donald Trump was president just before him. That means either way voters get to decide the next term based on recent experience. How Trump articulates the facts and exaggerations in comparison to his feeble opponent; Biden seriously seems to be in the early stages of dementia; is what makes him the easy victor in this Debate.

These are songs by, at least in the case of LL Cool J, rich men portraying the role of bums. LL plays himself gone broke; he has the Cheesy Rat Blues; while Masta Ace simply goes by the name of Joe; a student slash panhandler from The Other Side Of Town. Both songs were released in 1990. Both are produced by Marley Marl. That means he made the music.
The beats are damn funky, but Town’s, with its splendid bassline and organ breaks, sounds a little better to my ears. Masta Ace’s raps are also more poignant and better composed technically, but LL Cool J is funnier and thus more entertaining, especially during the second half. His “back of the bus”, “who this” and “know how to get busy” lines are classic.
