audio review : He Who Is Without Funk Cast The First Stone ( album ) ... Joe Tex

This record is, as the ridiculous title suggests, all about the Funk; the kind you hear, and smell, at the local discoth猫que. The set begins with Loose Caboose; a song made for the sole purpose of shaking your ass to; but it’s the Music that has everyone dancing. Joe Tex’s vocals, which he shouts like a ghetto church preacher, are less than divine.

Rosen Moisturizing Soap : White Tea And Aloe Vera

You’d think a soap “exclusively created for guests of” Rosen Hotels And Resorts would be mild and unobtrusive, but this is anything but. The bar looks pleasant enough and the lather is okay, but it smells like a mix of lemons, pepper and wood burning under a chimney. It also makes your skin feel sticky, which is weird.

This soap is “exclusively created for guests of” Rosen Hotels And Resorts. The Cleansing bit is redundant; what soap doesn’t cleanse; and the scent is surprisingly pungent, but it’s fancy stuff. There’s actual (visible/feelable) Oatmeal embedded in the bar, which, beside looking like it fell on a dirty floor, is fun to use.

“Formulated with Arm And Hammer baking soda,” the description reads, “this Body Wash gently nourishes and cleanses your baby.” That may be true; the best thing about it is that it’s also fragrance-free; but it barely lathers, at least on my grown-up ass. That’s a major problem because you have to use about twice the amount you normally would to bathe.
