Michael Jackson’s horror songs rank among his all-time best. Thriller, Ghosts and Is It Scary all sound fantastic. Threatened, featuring excerpts from Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone, is a tier below. The chorus section is more Britney Spears or Backstreet Boys than King Of Pop, but, by episode’s end, the singer manages to set it apart with his signature (“hoo-hoo”) pizzazz.
