What’s perhaps even more impressive is the full ingredients list, which, aside from the sugar, is indeed “heart healthy”. Pour cold milk over the top, don’t stir it in and eat it like that to maximize the taste.

This story should’ve taken place 28 Months Later to leave room for the sequel it so blatantly sets up at the end. Not that it matters much. 28 Days Later is a good horror flick that, like most, should’ve been left alone. These sequels simply aren’t up to par.

The plot, like its characters, runs away from the zombies it’s supposed to be about. They’re a conceptual underlining to what has become, even more so than before, a kindred love story. The peak, when the action should be in high gear, is slow and soppy.
