video review : Disclosure Day

video review : Disclosure Day

This doesn’t begin like a Steven Spielberg flick; it starts with a wrestling match; but it ends like one. The last ten minutes, when the title concept finally comes into play, are engrossing. That’s also when, considering the recent real-life release of UFO files from the US government, it starts to seem authentic.

The preceding story is mostly hackneyed Hollywood movie fare. The bad guys; members of a secret agency known as Wardex; are dutifully inept. The protagonist; a Kansas City weatherwoman; is given psychic powers that allow her to escape danger, and even avoid a traffic ticket, when convenient.

video review : Anderson Silva versus Tyron Woodley at Jake Versus Joshua

video review : Anderson Silva versus Tyron Woodley at Jake Versus Joshua

“It might not look like much is happening,” David Haye says during the uneventful first round, “but all of a sudden a shot will land and Woodley will go down.” That’s exactly what happens in round 2. It’s an odd knockout though as the ref waits till Woodley gets up and resets to stop it. Anderson Silva should also stop here, but his Chris Weidman callout would make for a more appropriate career ender.

video review : The Age Of Disclosure

video review : The Age Of Disclosure

It may indeed be The Age Of Disclosure. Our leaders have never been so forthright about the possible existence of space aliens. It’s nonetheless a slow leak, so we have to settle for documentaries like this in which people talk about the evidence we’re not yet allowed to see.

“It was the size of a Super Walmart”, Airman Mario Woods says of a UFO or, as this presentation insists, “UAP” he claims to have witnessed. Those accounts are the most interesting parts, but there aren’t enough. Too much time is spent on the lack of government transparency.

On Paper : Anthony Smith talking about his retirement fight

video review : Anthony Smith versus Zhang Mingyang at UFC Fight Night

video review : Anthony Smith versus Zhang Mingyang at UFC Fight Night

Anthony Smith is past his prime and this was promoted as his retirement fight, so it’s no surprise nor shame that he’d lose to a knockout specialist like Zhang Mingyang. It’s the way he loses; giving up in the first round but having the gumption to go after a prodder in the crowd as his family watches on; that’s embarrassing, especially considering he loss in a similar way in his previous bout.
