I REALLY USED TO BE SAVED!! I Cant believe that I no longer am. It feels so strange that this lady’s words sound dumb, when just a year ago they were coming out of my mouth too. I searched for God so hard on Youtube, and found Matt Dillahunty instead. I’m so lucky to be free from thinking I was free. I thank God that God turned out to be FAKE! THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL IS THAT SUPERMAN AND JESUS BOTH HAVE THE SAME POWER TO SAVE YOU!!!
This is so sad. If God knows the outcome, why pretend it is a test? And as soon as a terrible person hurts someone, like a pedophile torturing children, or a serial killer, why not ‘take him’ for judgement as soon as he starts? Why make those children and people suffer?

She is appealing to subjective, internal evidence as the verification of the truthfulness of the Christian Worldview. This is a legitimate method of evidence as long as there is a foundation of objective reality on which the subjective experience rests on. Here’s the kicker. She doesn’t have to be aware of the objective evidence that accounts for the reality of the basis for her subjective verification in order for her subjective experience to be valid. Of course, I strongly believe it would be much better if she were aware of the objective basis.
You are correct in your understanding that a skeptic would not find this a satisfying line of evidence for God’s existence, however there have been people who have become Christians, because of subjective verification (needless to say, it is rare).
Most skeptics that have become Christians, have done so as a result of the objective evidence, not the subjective evidence. For example, atheist, C. S. Lewis, reluctantly became a Christian as a result of the objective evidence for the veracity of the Christian World view and described himself as the “most dejected and reluctant convert in all England”. He didn’t desire to become a Christian but was compelled by the evidence.
You said something to the effect, “If God knows who is going to heaven, then what’s the point, God has determined who will go”. You appear to misunderstand the difference between foreknowing an event, and deterministically determining the event. Theologians and Philosophers recognize a significant distinction between the two, that you appear to fail to grasp. An Example – My wife asked me which of the two cars I thought she should buy. I liked them both (yeah, I wanted both), but said it is completely up to you; it’s your car. I knew which one she would buy, and I was right, but I did not determine which car she should buy. She made the decision. It’s a simple concept.
I think you do have a significant point concerning “faith”. I’ll explain later.

If you already “believe” why would you have to ask God for confirmation? If I know 2+2=4 would I ask somebody else for confirmation? And if I wasn’t sure and then asked, then wouldn’t I be agnostic?
I have this theory, let me know if anyone else thinks this might be a part of it all. My theory is that religious people are often drawn to religion by the type of english that is used in the translated bible. Basically I think a lot of ignorant people just like quoting and using words from the bible because they think it sounds intelligent. This one is a good example, right at the beginning she used the word admonish and you could tell that she would never use that word in any other setting. I think people love the grandiose language in the bible. I would love to translate the bible into plain english and even throw in some modern slang and see how quickly someone would laugh off the content the way I do currently
