I’d eat there if they’d stop funding gay conversion programs (which often leads to suicides) even if they still hate gays. I don’t want my money going to that “charity. There’s a lot more to this than what you covered.

While these criticisms are not always justified, there’s a non-trivial contingent of people who actually do hate LGBT folk for no good reason.
