De La Soul’s 3 Feet High And Rising or Jungle Brothers’ Done By The Forces Of Nature : Which album is better?
These two albums, released in 1989, rank among the best rap albums I’ve ever heard, but it’s not hard to determine which is better. Jungle Brothers get it Done fairly easily as theirs is almost all good songs all the way thru. De La Soul’s songs are also good, but their quirkiness sort of work against them as their set gets overloaded with skits. Both include collaborations with each other and fellow Native Tongues member Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest.
my vote : Done By The Forces Of Nature
