Cybele’s Free To Eat Superb Cookies : Chocolate Chip

Cybele's Free To Eat Superb Cookies : Chocolate Chip

I don’t know what’s so Superb about these Cookies. They’re “soft-baked”, which I generally prefer over crunchy, but the “deliciousness” bit on the box rings false. Like most of the Chocolate Chip variety, they’d actually taste better plain. The Free To Eat bit has to do with the fact that they’re “gluten-free” for whatever that’s worth.

DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizza : Three Meat

DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizza : Three Meat

The Three Meats seem more like two because, while the pepperoni is an obvious standout, the sausage and beef look nearly identical. Not that it matters much. It’s Pizza and it’s good.

“It’s not delivery”, but it does have a “fresh baked taste”. If you’re like me, you’ll laugh at the 6 portion bit on the back of the box as you prepare to obliterate a whole pie in one sitting.

Freschetta Kitchen Fresh Pizza [ Naturally Rising Crust ] : Pepperoni

Freschetta Kitchen Fresh Pizza [ Naturally Rising Crust ] : Pepperoni

The Kitchen Fresh bit is somewhat of a misnomer; it comes boxed from the grocery store; but this is one of the better frozen pizzas available. That’s partly due to the Naturally Rising Crust; it’s main selling point; which comes out soft and fluffy.

I like to eat the crust first, in fact, before getting to the yummiest part; the pizza itself, made with “mozzarella and parmesan cheeses”. It’s also topped with Pepperoni, which are a tad disappointing because they’re not as crispy as they look on the box.

Hostess Patriotic Cupcakes

Hostess Patriotic Cupcakes

I’m no Patriot, but you don’t have to be to enjoy these Cupcakes; a “limited edition” because they’re made specifically for Independence Day. They apparently come in two designs; the top red and white colors swapped; but the key is to not eat too many as the sugary sweetness; they would taste better without the creamy filling; can become overwhelming.

Dannon Plain Whole Milk Yogurt

Dannon Plain Whole Milk Yogurt

You’d think this Yogurt would taste disgusting. It’s basically just solidified Milk, albeit Whole (real) Grade A milk, with bacteria (cultures) in it. Even with no sugar or any other ingredient to sweeten it; just living beings with friendly names like S Thermophilus; it’s actually okay. Imagine the kind with the Fruit On The Bottom before you get to the bottom.

Teddie All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter

Teddie All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter

The All Natural bit has to do with the fact that, unlike most Peanut Butter, this has no extra oil added to it. It’s just peanut butter, made from “dry roasted peanuts”, and salt; no sugar; which leaves a lot to be desired in the way of taste.

You’ll have to eat it with something sweet, like in a sandwich with jelly or jam, to enjoy the flavor. Of course that would negate one of its main benefits; that, while sugars ultimately have the opposite effect, it serves as a healthy source of energy.
