Michael Angelo's Three Cheese Baked Ziti

This is “zita pasta smothered in a delicate cream sauce” with parmesan and white wine. That makes it a fancy alternative to plain macaroni and cheese. It’s also “topped with mozzarella and Romano”, which is where the Three Cheese theme comes into play.

You might think you made a blunder when it comes out a tad burnt until you notice there are also brown spots on the box photo. That adds to its “homemade taste”, which is damn good. My only complaint is the relatively large size of the ziti pieces.

Fuck the euphemisms. Lizzo isn’t “thick”, “meaty”, “big-boned”, “chubby” or even merely “overweight”. The bitch is fat. It would be going too far to say she’s obese; though perhaps medically accurate, I reserve that term for the truly grotesque; but she’s certainly fat.

She’s not ugly per se; her face could be cute if she were skinny; but fatness is a form of ugliness, so she’s far from pretty. When people refer to her as such; she even has the audacity to describe herself as “beautiful”; it suggests either dishonesty or delusion.

Call me a “fat shamer” and you won’t be too far off the mark. Lizzo should indeed be ashamed when she exposes to the world that bloated belly, those massive thighs and that dimply cottage cheese ass. Then again, who am I to criticize people who cater to fetishism?

Truth be told, I might actually (secretly) have sex with her if she were to catch me in a horny mood. I’d never date her, but my sexual standards are a lot lower than my romantic ones. Still I’d be instantly disgusted with myself the second I, pun intended, drop my load.

audio review : Bobby Digital And The Pit Of Snakes ( album ) ... Rza

This Bobby Digital project is promoted as both the new Rza album and the “soundtrack” to his new graphic novel. Conceptually it works better as the latter. As a solo release, even a pseudonymous one, it makes for an odd affair as the hip-hop Clansman outnumbers himself with not just Snakes but eyebrow-raising guest crooners à la De La Soul’s Anonymous Nobody.

Some of those hooks make for the best parts though. Something Going On is a definite highlight. Even the Broadway-like harmonies of Cowards are pleasant enough on the ears. The music on these songs seems to be led by a live band of instrumentalists, which gives the album; with a mere seven songs, it’s actually more like an EP; a fresh, if not comically epic, vibe.

If these Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Keto (diet) Cups aren’t as yummy as Reese’s, and I don’t think they are, that fault is compensated by the fact that they have No Sugar, which is amazing given their taste. The secret to the sweetness is erythritol; the one questionable item on an otherwise impressively simple (healthy) ingredients list.

Little Debbie’s Mini Powdered Donuts are baked fresh and made with homemade imperfection. The hole sizes may vary, you might find some donuts have less powder than others and they have the tendency to sweat when stored in warm environments, but they are tasty. As tasty as Entenmann’s? No, but certainly good enough, especially when you eat them by the halves.

There’s a Bible quote on the back of the bag about God’s everlasting “mercy”; Brimhall Foods is apparently a Christian company; but he’s not so merciful when it comes to swine. These Fried Pork Rinds are the remains of skinned pigs; the only other ingredient is salt; which makes for a decent snack. Beware of the dark ones though. They’ll put a chip in your tooth.

video review : Sean Strickland versus Alex Pereira at UFC 276

Sean Strickland seemed on the verge of finally becoming a star in The UFC after stealing the show at the 276 Press Conference. Full of wisecracks and knowing how close he was to a title shot; Alex Pereira has clearly been put on the fast track to one; he seemed more interested in taunting Israel Adesanya about getting “slept” by Pereira than Pereira.

“Focus on this guy”, Champion Adesanya warned, “Cause, trust me, he will sleep you if not.” Strickland laughed it off. Cut to Pereira landing a left hook and, well, sleeping him “in the very first round”. It’s a shot to the chin, but it’s Strickland’s bonehead that made him think it was a good idea to stand right there in front of one of the best strikers in the division.

Prairie Farms Premium Ice Cream : Strawberry Shortcake

This tastes more like Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream bars than actual strawberry shortcake, which is a good thing. I wish there were more of those “crunch pieces”, which the ingredients list reveals are actually bits of sugar cookies, as they’re confined mostly to the top layer.

The ice cream itself is a blend of vanilla and strawberry that doesn’t really taste like either. It’s sweet and pleasant enough, but the flavor suggests a slight hint of Pepto Bismol; a perception made stronger by its calming Baker-Miller pink appearance and creamy texture.

I don’t know what the title is supposed to mean, but I have no Love, limited or otherwise, for this album. That’s not to say I hate it. It’s mostly middling, despite John Frusciante being back with the band and producer Rick Rubin returning after a one-album Getaway.

One noteworthy exception is White Braids And Pillow Chair, which is easily the best song on the album, though I wish the whole joint sounded more like its breezy Californian coda. The funky Aquatic Mouth Dance also serves as a mild (bell-Pepper-like) highlight.

No one promotes Dana Dane like Dana Dane. He’s constantly mentioning himself in the third person perspective as though he’s talking to you about the most popular rapper in the world. “I’ve got a following larger than The Beatles,” he claims at one point. There are, in fact, no less than four songs with his name in the title, which pushes his braggadocio pass the point of typical rap fare.

It’s all in Fun though and he is a good (enough) rapper if only for his charming and witting personality. Perhaps his best trait is the one that gave him Fame; his knack for storytelling. Remember Nightmares? Well, Anita The Beast is back along with a new cast of characters; mostly cute girls. The most poignant tale has him playing the role of a Lonely Man after his girlfriend dies in a car crash.

Jada Pinkett was certainly a cutie in her 20s, but age eventually takes its toll; a fact often made worse when women who are rich and famous try to delay the inevitable by getting cosmetic surgery. I don’t know which of the two did Jada in more, but she looks a lot different now and not in a good way.

That’s especially been the case ever since she revealed, sometime last year, her new bald look. She’s apparently been secretly suffering from alopecia areata; an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss; for years and finally decided to stop trying to hide it. Well, she should go back to hiding it.

Any female’s looks would take a major hit going from having hair to being bald and Jada is no exception. Head hair is extremely important when it comes to beauty. With it, she’s okay enough for an older woman; there are still hints of cuteness; but she looks repulsively mannish without it.
