video review : RoboCop 2

Not even the crime-ridden city of Detroit, now plagued by a popular street drug called Nuke, needed another RoboCop. The original stood on its own as a sort of modern-day Frankenstein. 2 is a lot less endearing. Nor is the editing and cinematography as slick. The plot continues with OCP and an underlining theme of corporate greed; appropriately enough for a money grab.

video review : Halloween 3 [ Season Of The Witch ]

What the hell is this? It certainly isn’t a Halloween movie. The main character, a doctor named Daniel, watches one on TV. I guess that’s supposed to be the link. What a ruse. The plot has nothing to do with the 1978 original, which might not be so bad if it weren’t so stupid. Michael Myers is replaced with killer androids in business suits.

video review : RoboCop

RoboCop is a Detroit police officer that’s part man and part machine. His advantages on the force include superhuman strength; he can bend the barrel of a gun with his hand; and precise computer-aided calculations. This thoroughly entertaining sci-fi action flick also reveals some Frankenstein-like psychological drama as “deceased” cyborg Alex Murphy comes to terms with his new identity.
